A few more of the regular autumn moths trapped this week with the warmer weather; Green-brindled Cresent, Blair's Shoulder-knot and the first of the autumn Epirrata moths, the November Moth.
Pride of place though goes to the Dark Sword-grass caught last night.
The only immigrant moth which I catch with any regularity it is still a rarity with only one or two records most years, usually in the autumn.

Caught a second Dark Sword-grass last night along with 3 Silver Y which is an indication of some moth migration. Another Merveille du Jour, Snout, 3 Brick, 2 Pale-mottled Willow, Barred Sallow, Red-line Quaker, and Frosted Orange.

Very few moths flying last night just single Copper Underwing, Rosy Rustic, Large Yellow Underwing (2), Green Carpet (3), Autumnal Rustic and the micros's Ypsolopha parenthesella and Apotomis turbidana but just before we left a Dark Sword-grass flew in to the trap, hopefully the start of a few migrants moving.
