Muliple moth catch including Acleris hyemana

My first multiple moth catch of the year as a result of the temperature increase, it was 8 degrees when I checked the trap at 7am and feeling much more Spring like.
The catch included the micro moth Acleris hyemana. I catch this in small numbers each year, usually at this time of the year. The moth over-winters as an adult so they are usually quite worn by now. It is a moorland species and probably quite common on Beeley.
Also added Satellite (2), Hebrew Character, and the plume moth Emmelina monodactyla (Common Plume). A further two Common Quaker and March Moth completed the catch.

Acleris hyemana

I catch Acleris hyemana occasionally but usually in the late winter after the species has hybernated when they are generally very worn, compare with this Acleris hyemena February 2011. The adults emerge from September onwards so this one is relatively fresh, it's a moorland species and a dare say I would catch it in good numbers if I trapped on the moor at this time of year.

Acleris hyemana

Despite the warmer weather wind and rain have limited moth activity.
03/2 Pale Brindled Beauty
05/02 Pale Brindled Beauty and a new micro for the year which I think is Acleris hyemana, it is very worn but still retains some of the distinctive red markings, length about 9mm.. I'm only about a mile from the heather moorland so with the winds we have had it could easily have been blown.
