We had some confusion over the weekend when Jon Lowes photographed several red-eyed damselflies at Middleton but we eventually established that both Red-eyed and Small Red-eyed occurred there. In addition we saw the yellow form of Small Red-eyed which we were not previously aware of and which added to our confusion.
I think both records are new for the site.
