Migrant visitor arrival and departure dates


These are the first and last dates for sightings of some of our migrant birds locally. For this list I am including sightings generally between Matlock and Bakewell in a roughly 5-10Km circumference from Darley Dale.

    excellent idea, it will let me know when to pop up onto the moors to find our summer visitors. Thanks for running such a great site :-)

    I have spent several hours over the last few days looking through your posts. I had thought that many of the species you have seen did not occur in this region. Fascinated.
