Cloaked Carpet Matlock 5th August
Brian Statham caught this Cloaked Carpet in Matlock on Friday night, he also caught one on the 3rd. First recorded in Derbyshire in 2007 when a single was taken at Frogatt, I caught 3 at home the following year and it has been recorded annually in the area since. Designated Nationally Scarce B it has clearly expanded in to this area presumably from the nearest population on the Welsh border.
