The owls and the Peregrine
I was stood with Ken Smith on Beeley Moor last night watching a Long-eared Owl (first photos below) when we heard a commotion from the Curlews and a juvenile Peregrine flew over. It disappeared chased by the Curlews only to reappear a few minutes later high over head chased by a Short-eared Owl. All the photos are Ken's of course.
