James was on Stanton Moor late yesterday afternoon taking some scenery photos when this Red Kite flew over. Consequently this photos was taken with a 40mm lens so it was close! He called me and I managed to see it from my garden circling over Clough Wood and Wensley. It had been seen a couple of times earlier in the week. On Wednesday over Beeley Moor and Thursday over the Enthoven works so may still be in the area. It's quite distinctive with several inner primaries missing.
